meeting with the Dean of the business college / SFSU
A couple of weeks ago, I went to a networking lunch organized by the french-American Chamber of Commerce. The guest for the event was Nancy Hayes, the new Dean of the business college of SFSU.
She worked for IBM for more than 20 years, and then for two non profit companies for 5 years. She has had various management position and was more than willing to share her experience with the assistance.
She made a strong point about leadership and management, and gave her 10 advices to succeed in a managerial position. Extremely clear, she, for sure, is a leader figure and the students of SFSU are lucky!
